4th Annual Away Game Tailgate Fundraiser by Blount Hearing & Speech Foundation

The Hearing and Speech Foundation presents its Fourth Annual Away Game Tailgate Fundraiser, guest-hosted by former All-American UT Vols fan favorite Larry Seivers, Sat., Oct. 2, 2010. The event takes place in the luxury of Neyland Stadium's East Club Skybox while rookie Coach Derek Dooley and the UT Vols tackle the LSU Tigers in Louisiana. Doors open one hour before kick-off.  At $100 dollars each, tickets include a lavish buffet of tailgate food and two complimentary beverages. At half-time Seivers will take the stage to relate how leadership skills he learned as an All-SEC wide receiver later translated into personal business success. Ticket sales are tax deductible and proceeds benefit The Hearing and Speech Foundation.

"Now in its fourth year, the fundraiser is an excellent chance to experience a Neyland Stadium skybox at a great price while also assisting those in need," said Amanda Horn, president, HSF board of directors. "The skybox has a large wall of TVs, which translates into a huge viewing screen for the game," she said.

The Hearing and Speech Foundation has served thousands of patients across East Tennessee since 1981 through the Hearing Aid Assistance Program. Currently, the Foundation has over 650 patients in 27 different counties. Other programs through the Foundation include an assistance program in Jamaica; research and development in the area of speech perception; and development of a training program.
