Kiwanis of Maryville Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Imagination Library

Please help the Kiwanis of Maryville to serve the children of Blount County and have some fun by participating in our golf tournament and by supporting the Imagination Library Project.

Did you know that over 5,000 children age from birth until they are 5 years old receive age appropriate books each month in Blount County through the Imagination Library promoted by Dolly Parton and funded by Maryville Kiwanis and managed by the Blount County Library? Testimony from teachers and parents say that the books received by Blount County children improve their literacy.

The Kiwanis of Maryville will have a golf tournament to raise funds for this important project and other children related programs. We would like for your company to support the Imagination Library. You can support this program by sponsoring a hole at our annual golf tournament held at Green Meadows Country Club to be held on April 5, 2010. In recognition of your contribution of $250 to the Kiwanis Imagination Library program, your company will have a sign acknowledging your support at a golf hole. We will also send you a letter of recognition for supporting the Imagination Library, tickets to attend the award ceremony following the tournament and with your permission your company's name will be listed as a supporter of the Imagination Library project in any press releases about the golf tournament.
