Air Quality Improvement Committee responsibilities:
- Attend quarterly meetings.
- Select and coordinate speakers for meetings.
- Plan annual Earth Round Up event
- Submit to the Board any request for funds to carry out a proposed program not included in the budget.
- Encourage others to become involved in air quality issues and help spread the word.
Goals:
- To educate the business community about the need to address clean air issues
- To develop ways to communicate the need for clean air.
- To share information on what you can do to help air quality in our region.
- To lobby for changes in regulations that promotes clean air.
